My Uncle was living in Dubai and working for KBR. We recieved a call from a KBR representative that her was in a fatal accident. The story we are told is that he was at a meeting and released for R&R. When he was walking home he was in the median waiting to cross the street and a drunk driver hit him. I am unsure of the date but I will assume November 16 through November 18. The 18th was when the family recieved the call. His name is Joseph E Marks III aka Joe Marks. I have been reading the online papers and there has been no story of this fatal accident. The family is very sad and looking for answers. I am so sorry for your loss. I was good friend of Joe’s we worked together here in Iraq for KBR. We lifted weights together and played basketball after works sometimes when we were in the Green Zone. I have also tried looking for an article about what happened. I have heard various accounts of what happened but I am unsure. Once again sorry for your loss.
