Etisalat Beach Canteen 2021 is in full swing and visitors of all ages are having the time of their lives. The delectable cuisine on offer at the myriad popup restaurants, food trucks, stalls, and kiosks is leaving the guests craving for more while the various musical performances and activity workshops are setting new standards when it comes to family entertainment. Organised by the Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE), the event is part of the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations. It will continue at Jumeirah Beach (behind Sunset Mall) until 11 December.

Following are the food vendors that have set up shop in different Etisalat Beach Canteen zones.

Baqaala Lane: This is a reinvention of Street Food Avenue with an Arabic touch and has been a staple at Etisalat Beach Canteen in recent years. The eateries making up the latest edition of Baqaala Lane include MrBeast Burger, Coppasta Restaurant, CZN Burak Burger, G.O.A.T, iScream, La Baguette de l’Entrecôte, La Patrona, Mini BBQ, Slider Box & Health Junkie by Gourmet Gulf, Pulled, and Pink Burger.

“We’re proud to be part of the UAE’s 50th anniversary celebrations, and to be involved in the Etisalat Beach Canteen for the first time”, said RizgarSak, Chairman of Dives Holding, whose iconic brand CZN Burak Burger is featuring as one of the outlets at the event.

“The Etisalat Beach Canteen is a great platform to showcase our offering and share the wonderful flavours of CZN Burak Burger with Canteeners while taking part in all the fun. The launch of our CZNBurak game at the beach canteen means our fans can stay connected wherever they are!”

Food lovers are having a hard time resisting debutants likeAnother Wing, a wing brand by DJ Khaled that serves crispy and saucy chicken wings in eight mouth-watering flavors, and MrBeast Burger, known for its big and flavorful smashed burgers, outrageous chicken and grilled cheese sandwiches, and seasoned crinkle fries. They also cannot get enough of returning favorites like La Patrona, which brings authentic Mexican street flavors to the UAE with its succulent tacos, burritos, and other items.

Food Bazaar: Food Bazaar is a container setup with a dedicated grill area and juice bar. The array of options for customers in this zone include Another Wing, Absolute Zero, By Pinza, Cali-Poke, House of Pops, Kaak Al Manara, Kris Kros, LilleBite, Moshi, Pinza, Sides by Sidemen, SMK – Smoked Meat Kitchen, and The Phil by High.

Tamer Elkhayat, Managing Director and Co-Founder of By Pinza echoed positive sentiments at her brand’s participation at the Etisalat Beach Canteen. “We are so excited to be back at Beach Canteen after a few years away, and this time we’re back with more brands than before. We have missed being a part of such a vibrant community. It has always been something we have loved being a part of. It is such a great platform and event to expose our brands to both new and existing customers.”

Nora Moosman, owner of LilleBite, known for their delectable bite-sized desserts, had similar thoughts when she said, “We’re thrilled to be part of Etisalat Beach Canteen for the first time this year. It is particularly exciting as the event marks the UAE’s 50th Jubilee. Etisalat Beach Canteen is giving us the opportunity to share our love for sweets and gifting.”

Sultan Kayed, Founder and Head Chef of GOAT, added: “Participating in Etisalat Beach Canteen is a great opportunity for GOAT and food lovers, nothing brings people together like good food. It’s a chance for us to meet new customers and also get to see what other brands are doing.”

First-time participants like The Phil by High, known for its delicious Philly steak sandwiches, and Kris Kros, the place to be for those who want an authentic Lebanese shawarma, are making people come back for more. In addition, return vendors like Moshi, the Asian fusion eatery that serves momos and sushis with a pleasantly surprising twist, are taking their guests through an exciting culinary adventure.

Mashawi Hut: Located within Food Bazaar,Mashawi Hut is a specialised beach grill space with a live charcoal cooking station. Over here, visitors can enjoy various melt-in-the-mouth delicacies from Charade Café and Four Ounce Burger. The former is known for its irresistible gourmet burgers, loaded fries, and freak-shakes while the latter serves appetizing hotdogs and flavorful burgers that are not to be missed.

Snack Souq: Snack Souq includes a variety of hot, cold, sweet, and savory food kiosks from the likes of Captain Potato, Churros Café, Dibba Bay Oysters, Doce Nata, Smac That, Streat Fries, Torrija, and Yamanote Atelier.

Maiden Etisalat Beach Canteen appearance-makers like Captain Potato, a heaven for lovers of potato-based foods (French fries, wedges, etc.) and Streat Fries, known for its high-quality and super-fresh comfort food, are wowing Canteeners of all ages. Furthermore, returning brands like Churros Café continue to deliver scrumptious items that customers have always been crazy for.

Halawa Corner: This is a special spot in the Snack Souq tailor-made for those with a sweet tooth. The various offerings in this place come from Churros Cone Café, Merika Café, Republica Coffee, and Sugargram. All of them are taking their maiden bow at Etisalat Beach Canteen 2021.

Yalla Fun Zone: Mainly a play area for children, the pump-up Yalla Fun Zone includes refreshing drink stalls from Mihbash Bubble and Spill the Bean. The former has some delicious selections of bubble tea while the latter is an independent specialty coffee shop focused on single-origin coffees and supreme-quality organic blends.
