Renowned for hosting a cheese-tastic line-up of 90s and 00s superstars – from Haddaway, Snap! and 5ive to Simon from Blue and Fatman Scoop. Hot off the performance of Whigfiled at the beginning of the month, Societe is set to welcome 90s boy band sensation 911 to their stage on Thursday April 27th. The boys will be entertaining an eager societe crowd with their hit songs ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’, ‘Bodyshakin’, ‘Private Number’ and ‘A Little Bit More’.

“This month we wanted to give our loyal party goers not one amazing act from yesteryear but two” comments Gary Holliday, owner of Societe Dubai. “Earlier in April saw Whigfield perform for the crowd, on the 27th we will have the boys from 911 performing”

911 was formed in 1995 by Jimmy Constable and Simon Dawbarn. After signing with a managing agent, the boys recruited Lee Brennan to be their third member. Their debut single, entered the UK singles chart at number 38, was a cover of Shalamar’s ‘Night to Remember’. It was quickly followed by a second single ‘Love Sensation’, later featured in the 1997 film Casper: A Spirited Beginning.

The boy band’s first top ten hit came in 1996 with ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’. The band went on to celebrate nine more top ten hits including their signature song ‘Bodyshakin’, ‘Private Number’ and ‘A Little Bit More’.
