Convening more than 60 exhibitors and 4,000 motoring enthusiasts, key speakers at the day-long event will notably unveil the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE’s motorsport calendar for 2018/19.

Free to the public, EME will open its gates from 2pm to 10pm and offer attendees a chance to interact with drivers of the race series. Visitors can also view up close an exceptional line-up of circuit cars. For racing enthusiasts, the event will feature a spectacular showcase of the latest cars on offer from participating manufacturers as well as local businesses in the growing aftermarket/tuning industry in the UAE.

Faisal Al Sahlawi, General Manager, Dubai Autodrome, said: “From karting to circuit racing to off-road, the show will have a representation from all levels and disciplines of regional motorsport.  For anyone keen on getting involved in racing, the Emirates Motorsport Expo is the perfect place to explore their interest.

Sideline activities for the public include passenger ride on the main circuit and Easy Drift in the race paddock. Super Car Majlis Club will not only be on display but also feature in a loud-and-proud parade lap around the Dubai Autodrome circuit.

Debuting this season is the new Power Hour Challenge that will allow spectators to watch a unique selection of race cars in action on track.  A variety of rally legends, historic F1 cars, drift cars, classics, drag cars and super cars will each get a lap of glory. The event will also have car displays, food trucks and merchandise.

Opened in October 2004, the Dubai Autodrome is the only FIA-sanctioned track for both cars and motorcycles in the UAE. Spanning 5.39-kilometres, the versatile circuit can be set up in six configurations. Also on the grounds is the Dubai Kartdrome, which features outdoor and indoor karting tracks open to the general public.

Located in Dubai MotorCity that has earned the sobriquet ‘home to UAE motorsport’, Dubai Autodrome will host a range of retail and F&B outlets around the outer periphery of the track, making the facility a destination for everyone from gearhead to foodie.
