City Walk To Host Performances Of Arab Singing Sensations To Celebrate Saudi National Day
City Walk, the design-inspired open-air lifestyle destination by Meraas, is gearing up to host a gala celebratory concert with performances from popular Saudi singer Dalia Mubarak and Emirati artist Shamma Hamdan to mark Saudi National Day.
On 22 September, for one night only, Khaleeji music enthusiasts can enjoy the live performances of these regional superstars from 8:30pm onwards.
Riyadh-born Dalia Mubarak – also a former contestant on ‘Arabs Got Talents’ – has won hearts around the region with her smooth, distinctive voice. She also boasts a legion of fans and followers on social media. Mubarak, has been performing since 2012 and sings in both Arabic and English.
Barely 18-years-old when she first appeared on ‘Arabs Got Talent’, Shamma Hamdan has the distinction of being the first Emirati woman to make it to the finals of the defining Arab reality television talent show. Despite receiving no formal training, the versatile vocalist has won accolades for her acoustic guitar performances, and is equally proficient playing the piano and the drums. Considered one of the UAE’s most popular musicians today, Hamdan is well-known for her fusion style – blending pop, rock and flamenco elements in her music.
To add to the celebration, until 30 September, the third edition of the SunSational Summer App offers more than 15 new deals in addition to ongoing promotions at restaurants, shops, beauty salons, health, fitness facilities as well as leisure and entertainment avenues.
