Dubai International Art Centre proudly hosts its 63rd Members Exhibition, at Gallery 76 at Dubai International Art Centre from 3^rd to 13^th November 2018, this show celebrates the creativity & talent of its members and is open to the public.

This exhibition will showcase creations from its students who represent a diverse demographic of amateur and professional artisans. For those who appreciate Art, this exhibition will have something for every taste, from sculpture to oil & watercolor painting, drawing, pastels and mixed media. Many of the works will be for sale, making this exhibition an ideal opportunity to purchase original artwork at reasonable prices.

Sahira Ameen – The Gallery Manager explains, “As the regions first Art Centre, established in 1976, we pride ourselves with continually supporting artists in the community. This year we are very pleased with the overwhelming entrees from our members to exhibit and compete for prizes, the members Exhibition allows for a healthy competition, where a panel of renowned judges are invited to see and select the most skilled and refined works of Art to reward.”

This year the judges include critically acclaimed Artist Ali Hammad, Khalil Abdul Wahid the Visual Arts Manager at Dubai Culture, Anand Kumar the Managing Director of ABRA VM & SD and Andy Pacino from Murdoch University Dubai will be amongst the specialists reviewing the artworks and offering encouragement to the talented members of Dubai International Art Centre.

The exhibition is open to the public and will be generously inaugurated on Saturday 3^rd of November at 6:30pm by Abdul Qadir Al Rais, one of the most celebrated & respected Artist in the region, he is a founding member of the Emirates Fine Art Society and is considered to be one of the pioneers of contemporary art   in the Emirates, noted for his mainly abstract artwork which has been widely exhibited both within the UAE and abroad. Al Rais artwork can be found in Emirati palaces, government offices and in the personal art collections of members of the royal family of Dubai.
