The new menu has been spearheaded by Chef Gabriele Kurtz, Talise Wellness Executive Chef for the Jumeirah Group portfolio of hotels and resorts. Chef Gabi has carefully curated delicious cuisine to ensure the health and wellbeing for guests of all dietary needs.
Chef Gabi will be at Jumeirah Vittaveli from 5 – 12 April 2015 and invites guests to join her cooking classes and demonstrations. During her eight days at the resort, Talise Nutrition’s healthy options will be introduced. From raw food classes to juicing demonstrations, discerning diners will be taught how best to maximise the local Maldivian produce to encourage health and wellness. The resort’s restaurants will also launch new super food breakfasts, low miles menus, and healthy mocktail lists.
Daily wellness activities will also be available for guests, including discounted spa treatments at the resort’s overwater Talise Spa, as well as an enhanced fitness menu such as paddle board yoga and group watersports activities. For the ultimate in relaxation, guests can also sign up for Yoga on a Dhoni (the traditional Maldivian sailing boat), led by Jumeirah Vittaveli’s Yoga instructor, Raina Bisht and guest instructor Maya Wimbury from Dubai. Maya will visit from 20 27 April 2015 to lead yoga and meditation classes. Maya is a professional Yoga instructor who gained her teaching qualifications with the Yoga Alliance in Rishikesh, India which is widely renowned as the birthplace of yoga.
