The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah, Dubai’s newest dining, entertainment and leisure destination, is hosting an exciting line-up of free-to-attend weekend sports and fitness activities between now and 9 February 2019.

Carnival games, yoga, Zumba, Kangoo Jumps, CrossFit, Pound workouts, boxing, performances by Parkour DXB and more are on offer at The Pointe, which is aiming to bring families and friends together to kick off their 2019 fitness goals.

Set against a stunning backdrop overlooking the turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf, The Pointe is creating two distinct themes for the adrenaline-charged community event: Weekend Workouts and Weekend Fitness Party.

Weekend Workouts:

Join Weekend Workouts to participate in a range of community and team sports activities including football beach games and carnival games. Guests can also enjoy enthralling performances by Parkour DXB that will feature running, vaulting, jumping, climbing and rolling that epitomise balance, strength and creative vision.

Timings are 4pm to 10pm on 25 and 26 January (Parkour DXB performance) and 4pm to 10pm on 8 and 9 February.

Weekend Fitness Party:

Held on the beachfront event plaza at The Pointe, the Weekend Fitness Party will take place from 8.30am to 8.30pm on 26 January and 9 February featuring group workouts and invigorating exercise routines including yoga, CrossFit training, boxing, Kangoo Jumps, Pound, Zumba and more.

Participants will be guided by fitness gurus and yoga experts from Dubai’s leading studios including Fitness in DXB (@kelsijoyyoga; @fitnessindxb), Jed Latabe (@masterjedai), Pinpoint Fitness (@pinpoint.fitness), Fit Box Gym (@fitboxgymdxb), and Kangoo Jump (@kango_emirates_club).

Timings are 8.30am to 8.30pm on 26 January and 9 February.

Participants must bring a yoga mat, activewear and appropriate footwear to participate in all sessions.

The Pointe spans over 1.4 million square feet, and is set to become Dubai’s new hub for seafront dining, shopping, socialising and relaxation, with 70 restaurants, shops and attractions offering something that appeals to all tastes, ages and nationalities.
