The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature dedicated day seven to the youth with a specially created Youth Day that saw extraordinary talks and fascinating conversations aimed to inspire.

Highlights of the day included a rousing discussion of how to make a better life for oneself with Saudi Arabian media figure and author, Ahmad AlShugairi. Shugairi guided the packed-out audience through practical tips on how to improve five critical aspects of life – Mind, Body, Money, People, and Environment.

Chris Gardner, author of the book-turned-movie The Pursuit of Happiness, discussed his extraordinary determination and self-belief, and gave his universal lessons for today’s youth in a motivational and empowering keynote address.

Should we be scared of Artificial Intelligence?, was the question that award-winning transportation engineer Samuel l. Schwartz and Director of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police, Brigadier Khalid Nasser Alrazooqi, answered in their session.
