Live Nation Middle East and Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), announce the launch of Dubai Music Week (DMW) 2015 scheduled from Wednesday, September 23rd through Saturday, September 26th. DMW 2015 is the premier international music festival in the Middle East featuring four main segments including concerts with an award-winning line-up of A-list performers, celebrity guest speakers, master classes and an interactive entertainment village.
The strategic partnership has been forged to combine the strengths and experiences of both Live Nation, recognised as the world’s leading live entertainment company, and DWTC, the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia’s (MENASA) largest venue operator and event organiser, in positioning DMW 2015 as the definitive music festival of the region. In addition to four concerts from leading global artists, the festival provides a platform for music fans to interact with celebrities and musicians.
“We are delighted to be a part of Dubai Music Week, a festival that will host some of the world’s best known performers and entertainers. We will also be focused on providing a platform for the region’s best talent and allow them to share experiences and gain exposure with industry heavy-weights. Dubai Music Week is very much about embracing the whole community, whether a DJ, local music industry professional, budding producer or simply a lover of music,” says James Craven, Managing Director of Live Nation Middle East.
DMW 2015 will take to its main stage music heavyweights across four concerts in four days from leading exponents of Pop, Urban, Rock, Arab and Latin Music, which promises to be an unprecedented music extravaganza. Celebrity guest speakers from the world of music and entertainment will give music fans an opportunity to get up close with their heroes. Local talent will also get the opportunity to learn from the best through limited master classes led by globally recognised experts in vocals, dance, drums and guitar.
“We are pleased to partner with Live Nation on this year’s festival to further attract talent and top brands in the music industry to Dubai. It is a fantastic opportunity to discover more local and regional artists, hone existing ones and learn best practices from global music industry icons. We look forward to hosting an enriching and entertaining event for all music fans,” says Ahmed Alkhaja, Senior Vice President – Venues, DWTC.
The DMW 2015 Entertainment Village will be the hub of all interactive activity and will be open to the wider public to partake in the festival.
