Emirati designer Nazek Al  Sabbagh dazzled fashion lovers with her outstanding creations at the “Hawaa’ Fashion” Expo in Bahrain held under the patronage and presence  of Sheikha Thajba bint Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, wife of HH Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, President of Survey and Land Registration Bureau.

Al Sabbagh, who participated under her homegrown label ‘Zari O’ Breesam’, was invited to the show on the back of her overwhelming success and strong demand for the brand’s slick traditional styles with a touch or modernity.

Al Sabbagh, the only Emirati participant, succeeded in drawing the attention of hordes of visitors at the event.

“We are grateful to the organisers for their vote of confidence in Zari O’Breesam,” said Nazek Al Sabbagh. “Our hallmark is that we constantly innovate to stay ahead and relevant in the global world of fashion. The response we got in Bahrain is very heartwarming which, we believe, is a reflection of Zari O’ Breesam’s stupendous success in meeting the aspirations of GCC women when it comes to fashion.”

Al Sabbagh showcased Summer, Ramadan and Haq Al Laila designs that feature new styles combining classic and modern elements. The collection on view also included “Zari Kids” outfits, thus enabling local women to find something fashionable and elegant for themselves and their little girls.

“We were delighted to put on display our latest Ramadan and Summer collection at the ‘Hawaa’ fashion expo. ‘Alwan Ramadan’ was themed on fashionable Ramadan this year, mainly for Gulf women who are looking for outfits both for occasions in their houses or outdoors,” added Al Sabbagh.

Zari O’Breesam will continue to display ‘Alwan Ramadan’ and Summer collections at its store in Dubai. More designs are to be unveiled after Eid ul-Fitr.

Other designers at ‘Hawa’ fashion expo included names from Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan.
