Watch Hazza Al Mansoori make history today as he becomes the first Emirati astronaut in space.

We are broadcasting the live launch of the Soyuz spacecraft on the screen next to Hub Zero at City Walk between 4pm – 8pm today, with countdown starting at 5.30pm.

Hazza Al Mansoori will be the first Emirati astronaut to enter space as he travels from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to the International Space Station (ISS).

Having undergone a rigorous training program over the last year and with over 14 years of experience as a military pilot flying F-16 jets, Hazza Al Mansoori is set to write a new chapter in the UAE’s history book.
