Beko, the international home appliance brand of Arçelik group and Global Premium Partner of FC Barcelona today announced the official launch of “Eat Like A Pro”, a global initiative to help parents around the world feed their children healthier food options through motivating them with their role models, in the United Arab Emirates. The campaign was introduced at a nutrition focused launch event attended by the renowned Health and Wellbeing Advisor Lama Alnaeli, who has joined forces with Beko to raise awareness around the importance of healthy living and eating amongst families in the UAE.

Through its partnership with FC Barcelona, Beko is utilizing its access to the team’s world-class players to showcase exactly what the top players in the world eat every day in order to perform at their best, so by showing children what their heroes eat, Beko is making healthy food exciting. And with a wide range of appliances featuring smart and helpful technologies to deliver healthy food at its best, Beko is proud to support families all around the world and now in the UAE.

As part of the “Eat Like A Pro” campaign, Beko has partnered with UAE based Health and Wellbeing Advisor Lama Al Naeli. Through this partnership, Lama will be engaging in several activations and workshops aimed at Empowering mothers with knowledge and skills to improve their children’s eating habits and prevent the development of nutrition related chronic diseases and health complications amongst children.

Commenting on the launch of Eat Like A Pro in the UAE, Lama Al Naeli, Beko’s Health and Wellbeing Advisor in the UAE said: “I’m very pleased and honored to join forces with Beko to launch the ELAP campaign in the UAE and carryout this amazing awareness programme which addresses real concerns facing families in our region. As a certified nutritionist and clinical dietitian, I see many cases of child obesity, and understand parents’ concern when it comes to not only offering healthy food options to their children but also influencing them to consume these foods”.
