Ahlan Lounge @B Is Now Open And Welcoming Guests At The Dubai International Airport
Ahlan Lounge @B, located at Terminal 3, Concourse B, near Gate B26 at the Dubai International Airport is now open for guests and transit passengers’. The lounge is launching a new International menu along with a safe experience keeping in mind all the precautions and guidelines.
Taking full advantage of the downtime last few months, the Dubai International Hotel opted for a holistic, creative route to keep perfecting its offerings through in-house Cooking Classes that would benefit all of its chefs. This has resulted in creating a world-class menu keeping in mind their guest preferences and tastes!
Home to 4 distinct dining outlets and two executive lounges serving a selection of international delicacies, the hotel has a dynamic culinary team of 50 members. The 5-Star Airport hotel’s Management and Executive Chef devised a resourceful use of the situation to strengthen the overall operations of its culinary team! During the lockdown the skills of the culinary team were tested through an examination, which helped the management ascertain the extent of their cooking prowess. Next, every member was assigned a specific curriculum for their “Cooking Class”, based on their skills and level of expertise.
“Dubai International Hotel has always been proactive in assisting our guests and delivering the finest hospitality. Drawing inspiration from global brands to boost morale and solidarity in their respective communities, we too reflected inwards to help our associates and fine-tune our services further. All members of our culinary team trained to diversify their culinary talents and attended the workshop, where they worked on enhancing their personal portfolio with vital skills and gain mastery over different cuisines,” shares Stéphane Blanc, Food & Beverage Consultant, Dubai International Hotel.
The lounge will continue to adhere to strict health and hygiene regulations; temperature checks, thorough sanitization, social distancing norms, QR codes for menu and newspapers and limited exposure with associates.
