As home of Dubai’s Turtle Rehabilitation Project, Burj Al Arab will continue its work by hosting a turtle release event on World Sea Turtle Day.

In the cooler hours of the morning of the 16th June, Dubai British School, alongside in house guests of Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel will gather amongst the sandy shores of beachside restaurant, Villa Beach. Guests will witness the release of approximately 150 rehabilitated turtles, which will plod slowly through the sand to their home environment of the warm waters of the Arabian Gulf. With six satellite tagged turtles, five sponsored by Dubai Aquarium and the other purchased by Burj Al Arab Aquarium, plus 100 Hawksbill turtles – the morning is set to be a memorable one for all.
