Tub of Butter, a newly developed fine foods concept has opened in the city, offering an all-day casual dining space available for eating in and freshly made foods on the go.

With such a wide variety of unique breakfast, lunch, and dinner options available, diners will be spoilt for choice. The venue has an array of counters stocked with fresh pastries, hand crafted desserts, fine Italian cold cuts, olives, jams, and a selection of Mediterranean cheeses from the deli. The rotisserie serves up a delicious roast chicken daily, and pizzas are freshly baked in the Mediterranean style oven.

The breakfast menu, available from 7am to 11.30am on a weekday and until 2.30pm on Friday and Saturday offers fresh cut fruits, softly poached eggs benedict, and crushed avocados with chilli chia seeds & lime on toasted sourdough bread.  Signature a la carte dishes include a freshly baked pizza with crispy smoked turkey, Kalamata, passata, mozzarella, artichoke & ruccola, a fresh and light mozzarella, ruccola & basil pasta salad infused with olive oil, and the perfectly fried loukoumades coated in a warm sugared syrup.

The creatively designed retail space offers a selection of exquisite artisanal products from all around the world stocking bespoke Japanese tea blends, dried pastas, 23 carat gold truffle honey, diamond salt from Pakistan and Madagascan pepper. Visitors can browse through the maze of organised mess and select items of their choosing, with the option to takeaway a customized gift hamper.

The name, Tub of Butter is taken from the well- known expression, landed in a tub of butter, the concept aims to make the guest feel lucky to have entered such a pleasant space. The interiors such as the modern artwork, warm wooden storage boxes stacked to the open ceiling, rustic glass lights and snug booths.

‘It’s been my dream to open a homegrown concept since I moved to the UAE two years ago, and my influence for the Mediterranean menu came from my visit to Greece. Tub of Butter is the perfect place for a relaxing coffee morning, lunch with the kids, or a quiet dinner. Tub of Butter is open daily from 7AM to 11PM. The restaurant is child friendly equipped with high chairs and a kid’s play area.
