Cairo Sound Music Festival is a new cultural project launched by Hi Wave Events that will become a series of festivals in the UAE. The purpose of the events is to promote modern Egyptian culture and to inspire young people to express their talents and pursue their dreams.

The festival will gather the three most successful Egyptian bands – Cairokee, Sharmoofers and Massar Egbari. These bands became incredibly popular due to their unique style that combines western music genres with traditional oriental motives. DJ Khaled Hussein will open the event playing house music featured by hypnotizing oud melody by Mostafa Ghazal.

The lyrics of the songs reflects the challenges that young people have to face on their way to success, yet they are filled with humor and optimism. They now perform all over the world and encourage others with their heart-touching songs. Half a million Egyptian citizens are currently living all over the UAE. Local fans are very excited to meet their favorite bands. The festival is meant to become a warm reunion of Middle-Eastern expatriates from all over the UAE and neighbor GCC countries and music-lovers who will follow the bands all the way from Egypt.

Cairo Sound Music Festival has a long line up. The doors will open at 4 PM, performance will start at 5:00 PM and the event will last until 1:00 AM into the night. The festival is family-friendly, and many attendees will come with children.
