French Tech Tour Middle East Kicks-Off With A Selection Of 11 Tech Companies To Address The Digital Challenges Of The Region
Business France will support 11 French Tech companies in the Middle East from October 31stto November 4th2021, as part of the French Tech Tour Middle East. During this five-day immersive program, the entrepreneurs will benefit from key insights and meet with local players in the United Arab Emirates, then in Saudi Arabia or Qatar.
After a mentoring session organized in September, the companies are ready to take part of a tailor-made program starting with a pitch session carried out at Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (Dtec), followed by business meetings with potential partners. To take full advantage of this trip, the entrepreneurs will attend to workshops on the French Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai with speakers from the local and French Tech Community.
The companies participating to this exclusive tour have expertise indeeptech (quantum technology), digital transformation, retail tech, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, fintech and big data: sectors in which France has a proven potential.
The 11 companies selected by a panel of experts will present their technological solutions to tackle the economic challenges faced in in the region. The French economy is built around an innovative ecosystem of cutting-edge companies and more than 10,000 start-ups represent today reliable and competitive partners for Middle Eastern businesses. French Tech start-ups raised €5.1 billion in the first half of 2021, almost as much as in 2020. Observers agree that the symbolic €10 billion mark could be reached by the end of the year.
