With centuries of excellence in craftsmanship and a unique heritage, the French art of living is also a source of innovation, adapting to the challenges of a constantly changing world. This conference will address the future of French creation and its vibrant international presence. Several topics will be discussed such as the keys to exporting know-how while responding to the local market search of excellence.

Acting as a hub for design and architecture in the Middle East, the city of Dubai is experiencing exponential urban development, bringing real dynamism to the market of decoration products. Dubai is the city of luxury, and French products are valued for their high-end image. Given the slowdown caused by the health crisis, Downtown Design 2021 is eagerly awaited by sector professionals. French companies part of the EPV label (Living Heritage Company) at the show represent unique companies that combine innovation and tradition while cultivating know-how, creation, passion, and heritage. EPVs are an important part of the artisanal fabric and are ambassadors of historical and future French know-how.

Five certified companies will be exhibiting on the France pavilion: Alain Saint Joanis, Duvivier, Lafuma, Lelièvre and Roger Pradier. Four other EPVs will be visiting the show, accompanied by our partner INMA (Institut National des Métiers d’Arts) as part of a special collective mission in collaboration with Business France.
