The Australia Pavilion kicks off the festive season with many fun and exciting activities, decorations and treats for family and friends. Children (and adults) can join a festive dressed Wattle in the forecourt to take photos with her on our sleigh pulled by kangaroos. Visitors will be able to try and spot our 2 Aussie inflatable Santa Clause’s; one playing cricket and the other with his surf board as they hide through the clouds of the forecourt. Guests can enjoy our delicious Christmas lunch menu at our Aussie Local Grill and afterwards indulge in our Christmas desserts and hot beverages which will include Christmas lamingtons, pavlovas and warm mint mocha’s. The forecourt will also be adorned with colourful Christmas lights resembling a Christmas tree accompanied with Christmas music by our favourite Australian artists.

THE ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS LAMINGTON

Melbourne Lane goes festive with its limited[1]edition candy cane Christmas Lamington. The classic favourite lamington has been revamped for the holiday season with a crunchy candy cane top coating. Enjoy the blend of mint and white chocolate flavours as you indulge in one (or 3) of these little squares of goodness! Available at Melbourne Lane café in the Australian Pavilion forecourt.

CHRISTMAS LUNCH

Don’t worry about cooking or cleaning this Christmas as The Local Aussie Grill has got you covered! We will be offering a delicious menu over Christmas day and Boxing day which includes some of our absolute favourites such as native spiced lamb chops, Fremantle octopus with lime pepper, Dibba Bay Oysters and so much more! After lunch you can enjoy one (or all) of our Christmas desserts which will include pavlova, candy cane soft serve and candy cane lamingtons! Pair your meal with a drink from the Aussie Local bar where you can indulge in a glass of home made mulled wine or Christmas cocktails/mocktails.
