At the opening session “Human-Centricity as a Key Factor of Future Economy and Sustainable Labor Market” together with leaders and senior experts from Rosatom, DP World, the International Organization of Employers, the International Atomic Energy Agency, Singularity University (USA), Khalifa University (UAE), Higher School of Economics (Russia) and BCG we will discuss key trends in the labor market, the role of youth and women in leveraging inclusive training systems. Moreover, Rosatom will introduce the Human-Centricity Index – a universal tool for measuring sustainability of social processes at corporate level. The HC Index was developed by Rosatom together with the Higher School of Economics (Russia) and BCG.

The main topics of the session “International Cooperation Fostering Engineering Education and Career Development in the Nuclear Industry” will be increasing the quality of engineering education, business-education networking as well as new ways of education and personal development that meets the demands of young nuclear professionals and STEM students. Together with the speakers from Rosatom, the panel will include representatives from IAEA, OECD, International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC), Lomonosov Moscow State University and other leading higher educational institutions of Russia, Italy and Great Britain.

The visitors will also have a chance to participate in a virtual technical tour to the Beloyarsk nuclear power plant which is the only site with the most powerful commercial fast-breeder reactor in the world. During the Beloyarsk NPP virtual tour you will see the famous orange “octopus” (BN-800) and learn more about the future of nuclear energy: dual-component power system and closed nuclear fuel cycle.

For in-person participants we have prepared networking coffee-breaks for useful connections with leading experts and leaders of global companies and international organizations as well as a reception which concludes the first day of the Rosatom Week at EXPO.
