The 31st of January, 2022 will see the National Day of Israel in EXPO2020 Dubai. Based on the pavilion’s theme of inclusivity and the similarities between Israel and its neighbors, the Israeli pavilion has scheduled a fun-filled day for visitors starting at 11:45am. Visitors can look forward to drum circles and dance performances throughout the day.

Aravrit (New writing system that combines Hebrew and Arabic)  sticker tattoos will be distributed at the pavilion’s dunes with henna artists available for a more traditional experience. Visitors can have their photos featured on the LED screens of the pavilion or have their polaroid picture taken as a souvenir of the special day. The pavilion will have a portal with several locations in Tel Aviv where visitors of the pavilion can view and communicate with their peers on video calls.

The Israel pavilion will also feature a performance from Amir Lustig the Israeli award winning mentalist who will dazzle the audience with his incredible feats of memory, stretching the boundaries of human abilities, predicting the future and generating mind-boggling illusions. So, don’t miss the opportunity to witness his performance in Dubai.

Anna RF, an electronic Ethnic Reggae band, formed in 2011 at the village of Shaharut in southern Israel, are scheduled to entertain visitors with their unique music which combines the beauty of different cultures and brings people together in a joyful celebration of unity. The group’s sound is a mix between east & west, blending ancient and modern instruments with a live-electronic touch.

Furthermore, the pavilion will host a treasure hunt at EXPO2020 Dubai with a trip to Israel as the grand prize sponsored by Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF). Visitors can look out for Israel pavilion hostesses at the four main entrance gates of EXPO2020, where they will be handing out the first hint to pursue the treasure hunt.

Menachem Gantz, spokesperson of the Israel Pavilion in EXPO2020 Dubai said “This is a proud day for us to celebrate the new relationship we have with the United Arab Emirates and continue to showcase not only the Israeli culture to the Arab world, but continue to highlight the similarities between our nations. This will be a fun day and we encourage everyone to come and celebrate the big day with us.”
