The second edition of the Human Fraternity Festival will start tomorrow at Expo 2020 Dubai, organised by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, in collaboration with the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, with the participation of international and Arab entities, including representatives of Al-Azhar and the Vatican.

The event will celebrate the UAE’s efforts to promote tolerance and its leadership’s vision to strengthen the values of tolerance and human fraternity both locally and globally.

The first day of the four-day event will be allocated to the youth and students, while the second day will be allocated to the activities of official authorities, in addition to children and the youth.

The day three will feature the festival’s main activities, including the “Human Fraternity Dimensions Forum” of the Global Tolerance Alliance, which will be inaugurated by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.

Afraa Al Saberi, Director-General of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, said that the final day of the festival will focus on promoting the values of human fraternity and celebrating the International Day for Tolerance.

The festival will also comprise the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence and the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity. At the end of the event, an online course, titled, “Tolerance and Human Fraternity,” will be launched, in addition to the “Tolerance Exhibition,” Al Saberi added.
