The Thailand Pavilion is inviting families and friends to make the most of the last month of Expo 2020 Dubai and fully immerse themselves in the wonder of Thai art, music, cuisine and traditions. Thai Cultural Week is thrilling guests with an action-packed programme dedicated to the vibrant and exciting world of Thai culture.  Running until March 14, it features awe-inspiring live performances that far exceed any others found across the whole of the landmark global gathering, plus enriching daily workshops and fascinating demonstrations.

Based around four immersive elements: Thai Food, Muay Thai, Thai Arts and Crafts and Nuad Thai, the event is launching in spectacular style with a moving opening ceremony on Saturday March 5. Starting with an opening address by H.E. Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai, the celebration will feature exclusive programme highlights such as a fashion show dedicated to the ‘Beauty of Thai Jewellery’, a gripping ‘The Spirit of Muay Thai’ fighting show, the pavilion’s iconic ‘Thai Miracle’ performance and many more brilliant and entertaining spectacles.

Throughout the rest of Thai Cultural Week, guests are able to immerse themselves in the unique and mesmerising culture of Thailand by taking part in a series of daily workshops and shows. This includes ‘The Charm of Thai Food’ cooking demonstrations, which cover how to make authentic tasty dishes such as papaya salad, chicken satay, pad Thai, grilled beef spicy salad, chicken stir-fry with basil and many more spicy and aromatic delights.

Meanwhile, the ‘Nuad Thai’ wellness workshop showcases the therapeutic benefits of a traditional Thai massage, and the Thai Arts and Crafts sessions encompass fruit and vegetable carving and other intricate and historical Thai handicrafts.

Finally, the Muay Thai Training Classes encourage guests to roll up their sleeves and throw themselves into the adrenaline-fueled art of Thai fighting. Delivered safely under expert instruction, these physical classes are the perfect way of mentally and physically experiencing the essence of Thailand.

Located in the Mobility District on a plot of more than 3,600 sqm, Thailand is presenting its most impressive pavilion in 150 years at Expo 2020 Dubai.
