Global Village is the first family destination for multicultural entertainment, dining, shopping and attractions in the region and amongst the most visited worldwide. Since its inception, it has embodied different aspects of the world and created a smile on the faces of millions of guests every season. This unique and integrated open-air destination offers guests the largest and most varied range of events, shows and activities in the region. Global Village takes guests on a journey rich in culture, cuisine and awe-inspiring entertainment.

Global Village media awards have been created to recognise media for their contribution to the success of our season.

General Terms

• Applicant should be representing a national or regional media channel.
• The media material must be published during the 26^thoperational season of Global Village, between October 26, 2021 and April 24, 2022.
• Deadline for submitting applications is on or before end of day Sunday, April 24, 2022. No extension and no applications will be accepted after this date.
• The article must be a result of an actual visit to Global Village and based on proper research.
• Participants can nominate themselves in more than one category.One submission per category.
• Only one winner for each category will be selected and Global Village reserves the right to cancel an award should the submissions not be deemed of high enough quality
• The submitted coverage should spark a desire to find out more about Global Village and prompt the readers to explore it.
• The coverage should be comprehensive to cover different aspects of the guest experience atGlobal Village.
• Prizes will be delivered to the winner post the announcement, which will take place during Global Village’s Awards Ceremony.
• Trophies are given under the name of the publication/media channel of which the submitted materials have been published in.
• Individual Journalist Prizes will be presented either on the night of the award presentation or sent to winners after the end of the season. These prizes will be in the form of limited edition gold coins per values below.

• Minimum 3 pictures published online or in print

• The photos must align with Global Village brand values
• The photos must be of high quality and include light, composition, depth and beauty.

 

Best TV/ Vlog Coverage

• Minimum 3 reports aired online or in TV
• Coverage Diversity
• Coverage Creativity
• Coverage must align with Global Village brand values

 

Best Earned Social Media Influencer Coverage

• Minimum 5stories / live coverage
• Coverage Creativity
• Coverage must align with Global Village brand values

Submission Mechanism

This season all submissions must be submitted online:

• Attach the supporting materials, as per each category requirements (not more than 10 MB)
• Submit the download link to the supporting materials, as per each category requirements (if more than 10 MB)

• You will receive a confirmation email upon receipt and completion of all data and attachments

Offline Submission: No offline submissions will be allowed this year.
