Hop on The Palm Monorail for an exciting new journey to The Pointe, Dubai’s waterfront lifestyle and dining destination, which officially opens its own station today.

The new station is part of The Palm Monorail’s ongoing efforts to support the UAE’s vision to become a fully smart and sustainable country by boosting mass transit and improving accessibility for residents and tourists. The monorail connects all the key landmarks of Palm Jumeirah, starting from the Palm Gateway station at the entry of the island and winding its way to Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall, Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark and now The Pointe – allowing visitors to relax and take in the breathtaking architecture and sights while getting to their destination stress- and traffic-free.

RELM FEST visitors can use the latest station as an alternative to driving during the weekend from 21 to 23 October. Starting at The Palm Gateway station, festivalgoers can park for free during the three days and kick off their night with live DJ sessions on board The Palm Monorail. Guests can also enjoy free Monorail rides to The Pointe station during the festival from 4 pm to 2 am, for a smoother travel experience.

We are looking forward to families and diners taking advantage of this scenic route and a more convenient mode of travel to The Pointe, which can also be accessed with a Nol card.”

Diners visiting The Pointe can use their monorail ticket to benefit from a 10% to 20% discount on their bills at restaurants including, Aka, Hook & Cook, Meshico, Enish, Mura, Social Distrikt, Zor, Zroom, Donna Carmella and Ibn Hamido. In addition, Chicago Meat Packers will be serving a complimentary cocktail to diners who present their ticket at the restaurant.

To celebrate the opening of The Pointe’s station, the Palm Monorail will be granting free access to children under 12 years old for one month only. Residents can also explore a variety of packages to suit their needs, such as the Palm Jumeirah resident package which features unlimited rides at a discounted rate of AED165 only, or the Family Pass which unlocks a round trip from Palm Gateway Station to Atlantis Aquaventure for four members, at AED99 only. Additionally, UAE residents can broaden their experience with a monthly pass that includes six round trips on the Monorail for AED135, or an unlimited rides monthly pass for AED165. The Palm Monorail operates from 9:15 am to 10 pm on weekdays (Monday to Thursday) and 9:15 am to 12 am on weekends (Friday to Sunday).  Tickets start at AED5 for single trips and AED10 for round trips.
