For the first time, Time Out Market will bring together chefs from different Markets across the globe as part of Chefs On Tour – a new collaborative chef’s table dinner, offering an exclusive one-off dining experience. For Chefs On Tour, Chef Stephen Gillanders from Time Out Market Chicago will travel to Dubai to create a unique fine dining experience for one night only on March 19 together with Reif Othman – the chef behind some of Dubai’s most acclaimed restaurants – who will host this delicious collaboration in his kitchen at Time Out Market Dubai.
 
The two award-winning chefs worked together to create a bespoke menu that showcases their joint talents and fuses their creativity and signature cuisines. The menu will feature several courses with new, never served before dishes by Chef Reif and signature dishes by Chef Stephen from Valhalla which is Time Out Market Chicago’s first-ever standalone fine dining restaurant.
 
The Valhalla menu items Chef Stephen will recreate in Dubai include crowd favourites such as Shaved Raw Hirame with green apple, nam pla & pine nuts, and Grilled Maitake Mushroom with finger chilli vinegar, chevre & charred avocado, to name a few. As part of this culinary collaboration, Chef Reif will serve a bespoke menu of unconventional dishes including Tartar date maguro with shio goma sauce, and Codfish with Yuzu Togarashi cream.
 
Chefs on Tour offers a fine dining experience – complete with specially-curated drinks pairings – set within the casual and energetic environment which Time Out Market Dubai is known for. Guests will be seated around a large communal table, right in front of the open kitchen where the two chefs will cook and present their menu. Guests will experience the buzzing energy and creativity first hand, making this an intimate and personal dinner.
