The crème de la crème of Dubai’s society attended an intimate event last night, to showcase the new PLAY Cannes launching this summer. The team at PLAY Dubai announced the new location in style by recreating the vibe of the Côte d’Azur right here in Dubai with signature blue and white tableware, palm trees and lemons. The scene was set to capture the glamour and ‘joie de vivre’ of the art deco era on the French Rivera.

“When we were creating the concept behind PLAY, we always knew that the brand would one day be ready for the international stage.  It was just a matter of time until we found the right partners to initiate our global expansion plans,” explains the chairman of the PLAY Dining Group, Rashid Galadari, “The South of France is just the beginning!” he concludes.The launch will mark their first international location in the legendary Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes, France, in the summer of 2017.  PLAY Restaurant and Lounge has, since its inception, redefined Dubai’s culinary and lounge scene, winning prestigious awards and the hearts of many diners from the region and the world.

Set to become a summer hub for Cannes’s most stylish and a favorite amongst chic holidaymakers and glitzy locals, PLAY Restaurant and Lounge promises to be the perfect addition to the city’s vibrant dining and lounge scene. The restaurant will be a permanent pop-up during the peak summer months, from July to September.
