Holidays to Dubai are getting cheaper due to financial crisis
Anyone booking flights to Dubai may be pleased to know that hotel room rates in the region have fallen considerably in recent times.
Five-star hotel prices in Dubai are now cheaper than three-star rooms in Doncaster, according to the Times.
Rates in the emirate have fallen dramatically amid the city’s financial crisis, the newspaper reported.
It revealed that prestigious city centre locations are currently offering rooms at nightly rates of less than £100, making now a good time to take holidays to Dubai if you are on a budget.
The publication added that it is not only central Dubai hotels that are cutting their prices – beach-side resorts are also offering bargains for guests.
Package holidays are also good value, with deals from just under £600 including flights and accommodation, the Times reported.
Dubai’s tourist office has plenty of activity tips to keep holidaymakers busy during their breaks.
It suggests paying a visit to the Dubai Museum if you want a glimpse of the city’s history, with exhibits displaying information about traditional Arab life and activities such as pearl diving.
