To ensure that #kindnessliveson this Ramadan, and mark its tenth anniversary, du committed to delivering 10,000 volunteer hours this 2017. In the Year of Giving, du continues its Mawaed Al Rahman initiative to pack and distribute boxes of essential food ingredients to thousands of underprivileged families across the UAE, so that they can enjoy healthy Iftar meals with their families.

This year, in partnership with Tarahum, du continues to drive community and corporate volunteerism by inviting individuals and corporations to join its box packing initiative. du is holding two activities: packing and distributing, and inviting people to volunteer for one or both of these. Volunteers will work together to pack essential Ramadan food items into reusable, environmentally friendly boxes from May 27 to June 15 between 5pm and 12am at the Adhaaf Sports Club in Al Quoz industrial area in Dubai.
