flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, and BBC Studios today announced a new partnership that will see the launch of a BBC Kids branded space for flydubai passengers on their inflight entertainment system.

From 01 December 2024, access to over 15 hours of content on the BBC Kids channel will keep pre-schoolers and older children as well as their carers entertained on board. Passengers will have access to world class global hits including the International Emmy award-winning “Hey Duggee” and the multi-award-winning “Bluey” which is the most streamed series in the US this year so far.

For younger children, other programmes available on board include the fun and exciting adventures of “Supertato” as he tries to beat off the evil pea, “Andy’s Global Adventures”, which takes viewers around the globe exploring nature’s mystery and animal behaviours, the thrill-seeking “Go-Jetters”, and the wholesome stories of “JoJo & Gran Gran”.

For older kids, programmes include award-winning wildlife expert Steve Backshall’s “Deadly 60” and “Steve & Aneeshwar Go Wild” where Steve teams up with young environmental enthusiast Aneeshwar. Also available to watch is Love Productions popular cooking competition “Junior Bake-Off”, educational historical sketch comedy series “Horrible Histories” and “Jamie Johnson” which tells the story of a young boy trying to achieve his dream of becoming a famous footballer.

flydubai’s inflight entertainment system feature a wide selection of movies, TV shows, music and games. Passengers travelling in Business Class can look forward to viewing the content on a full HD, 15.6-inch screen while Economy Class passengers can enjoy the same high quality content on an 11.6-inch screen.

The carrier’s inflight entertainment features content from major studios including Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures, HBO and Cartoon Network, offering more than 600 hours of movies and more than 700 TV shows. Passengers can also enjoy movies available across a variety of languages including Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Hindi.

Kids content available for passengers on flydubai will be refreshed regularly to ensure that children onboard can access fresh high-quality entertainment for the whole year.
