Derived from the Arabic word ‘ulfa’, meaning familiarity and affection, the cultural initiative celebrates Emirati values, heritage, and meaningful community occasions by bringing people together through shared traditions.

Designed in a circular shapewith a stage atthe centre to encourage closeness and connection, The Majlis will feature engaging programming, with every day bringing something new.Warm lighting, illuminated installations, and calm colours that glow in the dark will make The Majlis highly photogenic at night, while comfortable seating upholstered with soft fabrics will invite guests to stay just a little longer. The calm but social atmosphere will be perfect for sparking conversations with friends, family, and even total strangers, strengthening social ties.

Visitors can break their fast with iftar set menus at Mara orSolenn andindulge their sweet tooth withnew takes on traditional local desserts, including TŌRI x Around The Block’s magical falooda cake and Ratwa’s rangeena cookies with dates.They can also get their caffeine fix with WatchHouse’sspecial Ramadan-edition coffees, featuring rare beans from Ethiopia and Panama.

The destinationwill be open from 6pm to2amon weekdays and 6pm to 3am on weekendsthroughout Ramadan.
