Yalla Group Showcases Dubai-Built Global Success At Gamescom 2026
Yalla Group Limited (“Yalla” or the “Company”) (NYSE: YALA), the largest Middle East and North Africa (MENA)-based online social networking and gaming company, is showcasing its journey from Dubai to international markets at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, as part of the Dubai Pavilion.
Yalla Group is participating alongside the Dubai Films and Games Commission (DFGC) at the Dubai Pavilion from 26 to 28 August, the company has a dedicated space at the pavilion to showcase its flagship products, including Yalla Ludo, Turbo Match and Jalsat, and to share its growth story and Dubai roots with an international audience.

Yalla Group’s portfolio is led by Yalla, its voice-centric social networking platform, and Yalla Ludo, which combines popular board games with social features including in-game voice chat. Building on the success of these flagship platforms,
the company has has continued to expand its ecosystem across social networking, casual gaming and other game categories, developing products for audiences in MENA and selected international markets.
Yalla recorded an average of 47.6 million monthly active users during the second quarter of 2026, an increase of 12.3 per cent from a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter reached $82.6 million, including $34.2 million from games services. The Dubai-headquartered company has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since 2020.
A Dubai-Built Platform with Global Ambitions
Yalla’s participation at gamescom reflects both the Company’s Dubai roots and its ambition to expand its presence across international markets. Dubai has provided an environment that supports innovation, entrepreneurship and access to a diverse, digitally engaged population, enabling Yalla to develop products tailored to the social and gaming preferences of users across MENA.
The Company’s presence at gamescom also highlights the growing opportunities for collaboration between Dubai-based gaming companies and the global games industry, particularly across game development, publishing, technology and investment.
Yalla’s participation comes as Dubai accelerates the development of its wider gaming ecosystem through the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033, which aims to position the emirate among the world’s top 10 gaming hubs, create 30,000 jobs in the sector and contribute approximately US$1 billion to Dubai’s GDP by 2033.
More than 350 gaming companies, including approximately 260 game-development studios, are already based in Dubai, while more than 60 companies have been established since the programme launched in November 2023.
Dubai is returning to gamescom for a second consecutive year after becoming the first Middle Eastern city to host a national pavilion at the event. This year, the Dubai Pavilion brings together Dubai-based companies and showcases the emirate’s growing gaming ecosystem to an international audience of developers, publishers, investors and technology companies.
Gamescom 2026 is taking place at Koelnmesse in Cologne from 26 to 30 August. The Dubai Pavilion is located in Hall 04.1, Stand A011g–B010g.
