Keeta Drone is resuming its drone delivery operations in Dubai, with regulatory approvals from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and continued support from relevant authorities across Dubai. The resumption marks an important milestone in Keeta Drone’s expansion in Dubai and its broader vision of making everyday delivery faster, smarter and more convenient.

The service will initially operate from Silicon Central Mall, by Line Investment and Properties, connecting customers in eligible surrounding areas with participating food and beverage brands through an autonomous delivery network. Available directly through the Keeta app, customers can place food delivery orders from participating brands and receive them via Keeta Drone. Orders can be collected from a designated locker situated at RIT or Emirates Building near Foodings Cafe at DSO. With the rider collaboration mode, orders in select regions in DSO can be delivered directly to customers’ homes.

Customers will have access to a diverse selection of food and beverage options, including coffee, boba and speciality beverages, shawarma, desserts, Italian cuisine, Indian cuisine and more. The F&B brand portfolio will include local, regional, and international brands, giving customers meaningful choices while showing how drone delivery can become an integral part of everyday food-ordering habits.

By integrating autonomous delivery directly into the existing Keeta app experience, the service is designed to make drone delivery easy to discover and use, allowing customers to experience the technology while ordering cuisines from their favourite food delivery app, Keeta.

Contributing to the evolution of delivery in the UAE, the service responds to growing consumer expectations around convenience, faster delivery, ease of ordering, variety and technology-led everyday experiences. With multiple food and beverage categories available, Keeta Drone aims to demonstrate that autonomous delivery can serve a range of consumer needs rather than being limited to a one-off technology showcase.

Junwei Yang, General Manager, Keeta Drone, said: “Dubai is Keeta Drone’s primary market for international expansion and the resumption of our service marks continued progress toward a scalable drone delivery network in the region. The service is designed to make selected deliveries more efficient, broaden access to participating merchants and introduce customers to the future of delivery through a seamless, tech-first experience that embeds drone delivery into everyday consumer life. Strong collaboration with regulatory authorities such as DCAA, technology operators, government entities and local partners has been instrumental in enabling autonomous delivery and the development of the low-altitude economy.”

UAE’s continued focus on advanced mobility, emerging technologies, and innovation provides an environment for developing new forms of urban delivery. By bringing drone delivery into a live consumer environment, Keeta Drone successfully illustrates how emerging technology can move from pilots and demonstrations towards a practical service.

“Integrating drone delivery into the Keeta app creates a simple, direct experience for customers, with participating merchants at Silicon Central Mall serving as a key take-off point and demonstrating the range of occasions drone delivery can support. We look forward to expanding our network, bringing this service to more communities and continuing to build further with safe operations,” added Junwei.

Customers in eligible areas can order now via the Keeta app, starting from Silicon Central Mall, with more locations to follow as Keeta Drone expands across Dubai.
