MICHELIN Guide is excited to announce its 5th edition of the MICHELIN Guide Restaurant Ceremony, set to take place on 06 October 2026 at Atlantis The Royal.
Bringing together chefs, restaurateurs, industry leaders and media, the event will once again spotlight Dubai’s dynamic culinary scene and reveal the latest MICHELIN Guide Dubai selection.
Now in its fifth edition, MICHELIN Guide Dubai has become an important fixture on the city’s calendar, reflecting the continued growth, quality and diversity of Dubai’s gastronomy scene. Its presence in the city is made possible through the support of destination partner, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and continues to underline Dubai’s position as a leading global destination for dining and hospitality.
Dubai’s Culinary Showcase Takes Centre Stage
At its heart is the city’s distinctive dining culture, shaped by talent from around the world and expressed through a wide range of cuisines and restaurant styles enjoyed by local gourmets and international travellers alike.
Once the Selection is known to the culinary world, guests will be invited to a curated reception featuring a premium cocktail experience, offering the culinary community an opportunity to come together and continue the evening’s celebrations. A highlight of the reception will be a distinguished lineup of restaurants recognised by MICHELIN Guide for their culinary excellence, with chefs from each restaurant presenting signature canapés that give guests a taste of the creativity and craftsmanship behind their cuisine.

One MICHELIN Star is awarded to restaurants for high-quality cooking that is worth a stop, Two MICHELIN Stars for excellent cooking that is worth a detour, and Three MICHELIN Stars for exceptional cuisine that is worth a special journey.
Alongside the coveted MICHELIN Star distinctions, the Selection will also include the popular Bib Gourmand, awarded to restaurants offering quality food at a moderate price.
All establishments are selected according to the same five criteria used by MICHELIN Inspectors worldwide: the quality of the ingredients, mastery of cooking techniques, the harmony of flavors, the personality of the chef as reflected in the cuisine, and consistency over time and across the menu.
