In an ode to women across the city, La Mer, a world-class beachfront destination by Meraas, is celebrating all things fun, fabulous and fulfilling with a host of F&B deals marking International Women’s Day on 8 March and Mother’s Day on 21 March. The women’s day initiatives will follow a stunning art showcase at the destination as part of the distinctive Dubai Canvas public arts festival and a novel art competition for children.

Set to run from 1 to 7 March, Dubai Canvas will exhibit an eclectic mix of 3D art and other innovative art works that have been created by over 30 local and international artists.

Continuing with its tribute to the art world, throughout the duration of the 17-day Dubai Food Festival, La Mer is hosting an innovative colouring contest for children aged three to six years and seven to 13 years, with three winners in each age category set to receive free access to the inflatable play area Hawa Hawa. The artwork for the competition has been supplied by one of the featured names at Dubai Canvas – Dutch artist Leon Keer, a pioneer of anamorphic street art that uses optical illusions to create 3D impressions.
