November 30th will be officially known as Martyrs’ Day in the UAE to mark the sacrifice of all those people who died in their particular line of duty in their country.

This day will be marked on an annual basis and it recognizes the sacrifices and dedication of the Emirati Martyrs who have sacrificed and given their lives in the UAE and outside UAE as well in the field of civil, military and humanitarian.

Shaikh Khalifa has ordered that Martyrs’ Day will be celebrated as an occasion all over the country and will be an official holiday. This day will have a lot of events and activities in which one can see the participation of government institutions, Emiratis and residents to mark and proudly remind themselves values of dedication, diligence and loyalty shown by the Emiratis who put their lives on the line on the battlefield for the safety of this country and where their services were required.
