Dubai’s famed after-hours party spot, Mantis Dubai has released a February & March line up to rival any in global dance, trance and hip hop.

Introducing a whole host of brand-new nights for 2020, plus visits from legends of electronic music culture and hip-hop stars, bringing fresh new sounds in a series of bass-thumping nights at Dubai’s most cultivated party scene.

The venue in Emirates Financial Towers (podium level), DIFC has redefined the city’s nightlife scene with its commitment to booking the season’s newest and most sought-after acts.

BOUJEE WEDNESDAYS

Boujee Wednesdays represent everything in Hip-Hop and urban culture. Setting the scene for the weekend ahead, Mantis transforms into the ultimate destination for discerning partygoers waving the working week goodbye. With a mix of commercial, pop and R&B music, the night will serve to those looking to bring in the weekend in style.

  • Rich Homie Quan, 19th February: hip hop fans can expect a special performance for one-night-only from American rapper, Rich Homie Quan. A rapper, single and songwriter, signed to Motown Records, is influenced by icons including Jeezy, Gucci Mane, T.I, Lil Wayne, to name a few. His debut studio album Rich as in Spirit (released in March 16) debuted at number thirty-two on the US Billboard 200.

SENSES (THURSDAYS)

A night dedicated to electric, dance, techno and house music. Welcoming some of the biggest names in electronic music culture, Senses brings some of the best in the business to Dubai. As well as international acts, house music-fans can also expect unparalleled performances from local DJs guaranteed to put on a show that you won’t be able to find anywhere else in the city.

  • Stefano Nefroni, 15th February: Stefano Noferini is a name synonymous with the finest quality tech house and techno. From tribal rhythms, through understated minimalism, and back to main-room techno burners; it is his refined and expertly curated sound that has propelled him to the top of the game. As well as a hugely successful record label, Deeperfect, Stefano’s other baby is his weekly “Club Edition” radio show. The show is syndicated worldwide and broadcast on over 150 radio stations every week whichamounts to thousands of listeners.
  • Andrea Oliva, 20th February: One of the world’s biggest DJ’s in the dance and electronic-music scene, he’s guaranteed to put on a party like no other. Having been headlining the globes biggest parties since 2004 – and 20th February will be no different with what is predicted to be a show-stopping set. Andrea Oliva would be joined on the decks by Lazare Hoche.
  • AnimaTerra Festival, 27th February: Senses will also be bringing the international AnimaTerra Festival which is a comprehensive auditory and visual experience where people come together to express their passion for eclectic music and showcase their artistic talents. Each iteration will be rooted in one of the several symbolisms of life, based on Earth chakras and inspired by eastern philosophies. The first edition of Anima terra will take place on 27th February with international artist’s Robbie Akbal & Tebra taking the stage.
  • Art Department, 5th March: Art Department is back on the 5th March, as part of its yearly residency with Mantis Dubai. Since 2009, Art Department (also known as Jonny White) has been at the forefront of a major underground music movement, transcending genre barriers and forever altering the landscape of dance music. Bringing their game-changing contribution to electronic dance music to Dubai, the performance on 5th March is not to be missed!
  • Tania Moor/ Dalibor Dadof, 19th March: A force to be reckoned with, the duo has performed all over the world in clubs including Space Ibiza, Privilege, Blue Marlin, Zoo Project, Ocean Beach, to name a few. Ranging from the most delicate deep to the most select techno beats
