Arabian Adventures Takes Arsenal Football Stars On Safari In Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve
Arabian Adventures, part of The Emirates Group, has hosted players and staff from Arsenal Football Club on a memorable ‘Sunset Desert Safari’ tour in Dubai, ensuring a relaxed team bonding experience for the UK team’s world-class players and the entire support team during their intensive training camp in the UAE. The tour took place in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve (DDCR), the country’s first national park, where carefully planned rehabilitation over the years has resulted in a protected environment for the fragile native desert.
The destination management company created a tailor-made itinerary to deliver a unique team-building experience for the footballers. Guided by Arabian Adventures’ experienced desert safari experts, the team explored the wildlife of the DDCR, enjoyed an exciting dune drive, and watched the picturesque sunset from an exceptional spot. The programme culminated with an entertaining evening and a regionally-inspired Arabic dinner in a Bedouin-style camp. Throughout the tour, the highly-skilled guides provided interesting information on the fauna, flora, geology and cultural aspects of the reserve to the special guests.
Samir Mehta, General Manager of Arabian Adventures, said: “We are delighted and honoured to have hosted one of the world’s best and most popular football teams on our flagship desert safari experience. We hope our personalised service and activities helped the players further enhance team spirit and recharge their batteries before the busy spring season and look forward to delivering memorable experiences for the Gunners in Dubai again.”
