To celebrate the fifth Emirati Women’s Day on August 28, the popular homegrown brand Flow will be hosting a special digital edition of the Flow Talks Series, with four female Emirati visionaries in the spotlight.

AYA’s presenter, Marwa Al Hashemi, will be hosting a 15-minute Instagram takeover, during which she will discuss her own journey towards breaking the glass ceiling and making her mark. Running from 3 PM to 6 PM on August 28, Emirati Women’s Day, Marwa’s Instagram takeover will commence at 3 PM.

Marwa will be sharing vibrant insights into her journey so far and her mission to contribute to the nation’s ongoing development.

In addition to being a presenter on AYA, an Arabic YouTube series aimed at Gen-Z viewers in the GCC and Middle East, she is also a professional endurance horse racer and part-time actor and model.

Having participated in the Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Festival Cup for ladies and in the 120-kilometer Emirates Heritage Club Cup, her passion for horse racing continues to burn, with her sights set on The Royal Windsor Horse Show. With equally lofty dreams in the fashion scene, Marwa hopes to become recognized for her distinct style and for AYA to reach new heights. She hopes to inspire positivity and be a relatable role model to its viewers.

Marwa will be followed by Aida Al Busaidi, renowned communications and marketing professional at 3.45 PM, H.E. Dr. Sara Al Madani, a well-recognized name in the fashion, beauty, entertainment, and technology field at 4.30 PM, and Ahlam Bolooki, The Director of the Emirates Festival of Literature, at 5 PM.

Launched by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Emirati Women’s Day honors and celebrates the critical role of women in the country.

Flow Talks Series’ special Emirati Women’s Day digital session will feature four free-to-attend livestream sessions between 3 PM to 6 PM on August 28.
