MOTHER GOOSE – THE SUMMER PANTO RETURNS TO THEATRE BY QE2

Magic Phil brings his egg-straordinary family show back to Dubai for one day only

Following a hugely successful run in June this year, the much-loved Mother Goose is returning to Theatre by QE2 for a special one-day engagement on Saturday 19th September 2026 – at 11am & 3pm.

Produced by Outside The Box Events and h2 Productions – the team behind Dubai’s favourite pantomime seasons – this gloriously daft family show is back by popular demand, with two performances to choose from.

Deep in the heart of Fluffington Village, Mother Goose and her larger-than-life son (that’s Phil!) are living their best (simple) life – until a rather magical surprise lands in their lap and suddenly they’re richer than their wildest dreams. Golden eggs have a habit of attracting trouble, however, and before long the fabulously foolish Baron von Hardboil is on the scene, determined to grab all the gold for himself. Boo! Hiss! Meanwhile the lovely Fairy Poppins (Cheer!) struggles to keep the story on track… mainly because she keeps getting her fairytales mixed up!

Written and performed by Magic Phil, the show is a proper pantomime in every sense — wonderful magic, outrageous comedy, colourful costumes, puppets, and the kind of audience interaction that keeps children (and adults) on the edge of their seats. The cast also features Emma Quintin as Mother Goose, Alex Durston as Baron von Hardboil, Heidi Barlow as Fairy Poppins, and don’t forget the magical Priscilla the Goose!

When the show played to packed houses in June, it left quite an impression.
