La Mer, a world-class beachfront destination by Meraas, hosts a series of exciting events and activations during Dubai Summer Surprises 2018. Shoppers can take advantage of the unbeatable offers and participate in a Spend and Win competition while children enjoy a variety of fun games and entertainment acts.

La Mer Laguna has set up a special kids’ play area equipped with an obstacle course and water guns. Priced at AED20 for 20 mins, kids are put in groups to play against each other. Tickets are available at the counter next to the activity set-up from 5pm to 10pm.

Meanwhile, an oud artist strumming nostalgic tunes will tour the destination’s restaurants from 22 June to 30 June. From 21 July to 31 July, a busker Porcapizza, who plays a variety of instruments made of everyday objects, such as a typewriter and kitchen utensils, will delight passers-by with his funky beats. Roaming entertainers dressed as fantasy flowers are also set to wow visitors at La Mer from 1 August to 4 August.

As part of the Spend and Win competition, shoppers will receive a scratch-and-win card on every spend of AED250. Up for grabs are 100 family passes to Laguna Waterpark during Dubai Summer Surprises, and discounts from participating retail and F&B outlets including Sun Eye, iSea, Neo Noir Beauty Center, Vicens, SEVENFRIDAY, ZouZou, Steakanji, Maison de Juliette, Trina Turk, Little World Discovery Centre, Backyard BBQ, Treej Café, Motomachi, Pretzel World, Amorino, Tart Bakery, and Ya Meza.

Set to run from 22 June to 4 August 2018, Dubai Summer Surprises is an annual city-wide retail extravaganza organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment.
