Better Life Joins Hands With Dubai Community For Better Deeds Ramadan Initiative
Better Life, the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group distributor of global kitchen appliances, has joined hands with communities throughout Dubai in a Ramadan ‘Better Deeds’ initiative to provide Iftar until Suhoor refreshments for construction and security personnel.
Better Life has donated 19 refrigerators for the initiative, which is aimed at encouraging the spirit of sharing during the Holy Month. Volunteers from residential communities, property developers, business owners and schools will fill and refresh the refrigerators with water, laban, juices and long life snacks for maintenance personnel, construction workers and security personnel in their own areas.
“The initiative has been very well received across communities and volunteers have shared information through community portals and social media groups to spread the word as far as possible,” said Mark Nammour, General Manager, Better Life. “We believe ‘Better Deeds’ helps create a more inclusive society and this initiative is just a glimpse of our journey towards making a positive difference within the community.”
In 2018 the initiative also won the backing of Saudi actress Aseel Omran, who currently lives in the UAE, when she assisted with filling the Better Deeds fridges.
The Better Deeds fridges can be found in Mudon (Jabel Ali School); Green Community (DIP); Sports City; Motor City (GEMS Metropole School); Arabian Ranches 2; Emirates Hills (Dubai British School); Springs 1; Jumeirah Park Community; Jumeirah Village Circle; Jumeirah Village Triangle (Arcadia Preparatory School); Al Barsha (Dubai International School); AlBarsha1; Meydan; Downtown
