Dubai Properties Group (DPG) latest waterfront destination, Marasi Business Bay, transformed itself into an eclectic foodie delight from March 9 – 11, in collaboration with the Dubai Food Festival.

The destination hosted 20 food trucks curated by Truckers DXB featuring flavors from across the world. Food-lovers of all ages and backgrounds thronged the festival and imbibed the ambience of Dubai’s latest and most vibrant landmark project. Set on the Dubai Water Canal at the heart of the extension to Dubai Creek, Marasi Business Bay serves as an integral symbol of the Emirate’s distinct culture and heritage.

A spokesperson from Dubai Properties Group said: “We are delighted to partner with Truckers DXB to host a repertoire of unique food entrepreneurs that brought with them interesting stories about their equally fascinating food trucks. We create the highest caliber of destinations to meet the needs of both residents and visitors through unique lifestyle experiences such as this. Marasi Business Bay is becoming increasingly popular with lifestyle enthusiasts and those looking for family friendly-activities, further cementing its position as one of the Emirate’s leading attractions for tourists and visitors, alike.”

Food trucks featured at the event included gourmet meatery Sir Loin & Sons, Lebanese-Indian fusion truck The Shebi, Tandem – the first and only environmentally operated food truck in the UAE, and Gobai, a Goan fusion food truck, among others.

Dubai is one of the most exciting destinations for entertainment, business and leisure and is ideally situated a short plane ride away from cities in Europe, Africa and Asia. Marasi Business Bay has been designed to support Dubai’s evolution into a global hub connecting people from across the world and is testament to DPG’s continued commitment to reinforce tourism in the region, which is in line with Dubai’s vision for 2021 of establishing the city as “The Preferred Place to Live, Work & Visit”.

Launched in May 2016, the AED1 billion family-friendly destination will stretch 10 kilometers featuring a mix of exciting new residential, retail and leisure communities. Once complete, Marasi Business Bay will host the region’s first homes on water and purpose-built yachting destination, replete with restaurants on water. The venue will also serve as home to five marinas with the capacity to berth 700 yachts, as well as a yacht club, homes on water, more than 100 shops and floating restaurants.
