Emirati home-grown concept and candy haven, Candylicious took home the ‘Dubai Airports Excellence Award’ under the ‘partnership’ category, as they honored airlines, concessionaires and business partners who have demonstrated their commitment to improving service and exceptional customer experience at Dubai Airports.

Founded upon the principles of elevating a simple candy shop to a state of the art and world class destination, Candylicious pioneers the concept of merging the worlds of art, pop culture and fashion with candy.

In October 2018, Candylicious opened its store at Dubai Airports, Terminal 3, offering travelers an even sweeter experience. The store features a fresh brand identity and design that will activate your senses like never before. The brilliant purple sign catches your eye immediately but it’s not long before you spot the giant chocolate-dipped tree with lollipops hanging from its branches. The pick and mix selection with sweet treats come in every colour, flavor and shape you can imagine which makes it a candy haven for all sweet lovers.

Following the opening, Candylicious partnered with Dubai Airports when they launched ‘DXB’, a new identity and transformation of Dubai Airports from an airport operator to an innovative consumer led company. To celebrate the milestone for Dubai Airports and to honor His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Candylicious presented a 3D printed personalized candy made of 24K gold. As part of the launch, Candylicious curated exclusive customized candies with the new DXB branding, including a 3D candy printer, spun lollipops, hard rock candy jars and cotton candy floss.

The award is a true celebration of the continous efforts and journey of Candylicious in the region. The first venue is located in The Dubai Mall and is one of the largest candy stores in the world. With an area of nearly 1,000sqm and over 5,000 types of candy, it’s safe to say that you’ll find just about anything you crave there.
