Careem Pay launched a unique marketing stunt during Dubai’s peak summer travel season, turning its employees into walking billboards promoting Careem Pay’s remittance service.
Instead of opting for traditional in-flight advertising,  Careem employees wore branded t-shirts on flights bound for key remittance markets such as India, Pakistan, the UK, and the Philippines. This low-cost, high-impact campaign was seen by hundreds of thousands of travelers at Dubai Airport and on flights.
Careem Pay’s innovative and unique campaign highlights how creativity can often trump big advertising budgets, showcasing the power of resourceful marketing. The stunt leveraged Dubai Airport’s summer traffic – averaging over 260,000 passengers per day – allowing Careem Pay to engage their audience exactly where they were and creating buzz without the usual big spend.
