The Box Appeal, a month-long annual charity campaign organised by Carlson Rezidor’s Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels has successfully collected and distributed 11,000 boxes of essential items to underprivileged workers in Dubai.

The collected boxes were donated, along with Dubai Municipality and Red Crescent. It was the ninth annual in which residents of UAE came forward to fill the box with a shopping list of everyday items to donate to underprivileged workers. The boxes were distributed to construction workers and street labourers by, an enthusiastic group of hoteliers who are part of the Carlson Rezidor Responsible Business Program.

The Box Appeal asks people to give back to those who need it most, in this case, the unsung heroes,and is a charity campaign is created and run by the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in the Middle East.

At the end of the day, when we see the gratitude on faces of the workers, it drives us to continue our efforts in supporting our local community.
