Have you ever wondered what happens to a renowned international sportsman after he retires and steps away from his impressive career? Well you are in luck! Dubai Active, The Middle East’s Leading Active Living and Fitness Show, have announced that they are welcoming Matt Prior as a keynote speaker at the Middle East Fitness Business Summit, taking place on 5th December at Dubai’s World Trade Centre (DWTC), to discuss his journey after stepping away from the cricket field in 2015.

Matt Prior played over 170 times for England, won three Ashes Series at home and away and became part of the number one ranked Test side in the World in 2011. For most of his career Matt averaged over 45 with the bat and was regarded as one of the top wicket-keeper batsmen in the world!

Following his retirement in 2015 due to injury, Prior refused to sit still and focused instead on his other sporting passion, cycling.  He formed ONE PRO Cycling team in late 2015 which enjoyed a successful debut season racing at UCI Continental level before becoming the first British team to progress to Professional Continental level in 2016. The ONE PRO Cycling team continues to enjoy successes on the road while the ONE PRO brand continues to expand with the launch of ONE PRO Nutrition and ONE PRO Sports Events.

With unique knowledge about the challenges of being an international sportsman, how to succeed in business and how to create a globally renowned brand, Matt will share his insights on business, motivation and success during his session at 10.30am on Friday 5th December at the Middle East Fitness Business Summit, sponsored by NASM, and part of Dubai Active.

To attend A Conversation with Matt Prior – My Road from International Cricketer to Fitness Businessman, you can purchase your tickets to attend Dubai Active at Virgin Tickets online and Virgin Megastores across the region.
