With aims to facilitate further cooperation with the International Humanitarian City (IHC) and its member organizations, Director General of the Commission of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority Mohammed Abdullah Al Ahli visited IHC on Thursday August 21st, 2013, where he met with IHC CEO Shaima Al Zarooni. In a statement made yesteryda, Mr. Mohammed said, “The Authority is continuously seeking to cooperate with all sides with belief in the importance of community participation at all levels”. He pointed out that this meeting emphasizes the importance of humanity and start seeing the vision of the UAE in general, that will always be an integral part of humanitarian aid. The Dubai Civil Aviation always looking to achieve all aspirations for the future according to the basic pillars respond to the aspirations of the Commission aimed at building a sustainable future at the best standards in order to support Dubai ‘s vision to become a world city in humanitarian work, he added. The Dubai Civil Aviation participates in many humanitarian activities to achieve effective communication. Mr. Mohammed emphasized the important role of the UAE within the Arab, Islamic and International field, as a proactive humanitarian actor. “The Emirate of Dubai is keen to play an active role in humanitarian action through the launch of humanitarian and community initiatives and build bridges of human communication with all people,” he stated. The Dubai Civil Aviation is putting a lot of efforts to enhance the partnership and humanitarian development through communicating with the specialized departments, hence the significance of the visit to the IHC that is chaired by HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.
