The 21st edition of Cityscape Global Summit and Exhibition will kick off on Sunday, 7 November at the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo 2020 Dubai as part of a strategic partnership with Dubai Land Department (DLD). This comes as part of DLD’s tireless efforts to enhance the emirate’s position as the preferred real estate destination regionally and globally in terms of attractiveness, innovation and trust, in addition to keep pace with the latest global developments in the real estate field.

This year’s edition is expected to witness unparalleled participation and turnout as it coincides with the events of the major international exhibition, Expo 2020 Dubai, that is witnessing the participation of over 190 countries and is being held for the first time in the Arab world. With its innovative and contemporary version, Cityscape 2021 will contribute to strengthening Dubai’s real estate system and its digitalisation, which is fully consistent with the emirate’s strategic efforts to develop an integrated smart and digital environment across various levels.

The summit accompanying the exhibition will be held on 7 and 8 November, with the participation of a wide range of real estate experts, to discuss the changing requirements of buyers, identify challenges and opportunities facing the sector post-COVID-19, and highlight the growing importance of sustainability in the real estate sector. Following the summit and over three days (9-11 November), Cityscape Global will kick off with the participation of many of the most prominent international real estate development companies.

DLD, as strategic partner, will participate in the activities accompanying Cityscape, and through its various organisations and sectors, will present several smart and innovative projects, services and initiatives that seek to enhance Dubai’s real estate sector in accordance with international best practices.

The projects that will be highlighted within DLD’s platform at the exhibition will include a number of initiatives, including the smart valuation initiative, Dubai REST app services, and the Building Classification Survey project that will be launched on the side-lines of the exhibition on 10 November.

Additionally, a number of smart and innovative services will be launched in line with the emirate’s digital trends, including the DLD Document Vault and the electronic No Objection Certificate, in addition to the interactive Ask Malek service on the Dubai REST app and DLD’s website.

There are also a number of initiatives taking place on the side-lines of the exhibition, including the launch of the Dubai Commercial Property Price Index’ at the Cityscape Summit on 7 November and the launch of the real estate investment portal on DLD’s website, which includes the real estate investment guidebook on the first day of the exhibition as well as the launch of the annual report on the performance of Dubai’s real estate sector.
